Cairo 2006, somewhere in the city there is an open air market where they sold very nice tasting peaches and apricots, my father and i bought a kilo to take home, and they were the best tasting peaches I had in many years.I turned around to see this guy because I think my wife said look at that and I took a picture and felt so nervous pressing the button as I felt every time I try a picture of another person whom I never met before and every time I try to I fail because it felt invasive and dirty in a sense that I felt like I was viloating them in some undescribable human emotion. And I said sorry to this man minding his own business carrying his metal sheet that looked like gold in the middle of the day in Cairo trying maybe to earn his daily living. But I don't think I said it loud enough for him to hear.
